With its flowing, neo-futuristic shape, it’s one of the most recognizable buildings in Asia. Inside and around it, you’ll find art exhibitions, fashion shows, shops, a night market, and more. It has become a true center of Seoul’s design and culture.

What Can You Do at DDP?
1. See the Magical LED Rose Garden
This is DDP’s most famous photo spot! Thousands of white LED roses glow softly in the outdoor garden after dark. Come after sunset for the full magical effect — your photos will be stunning.

2. Explore the Design Exhibitions
DDP hosts exhibitions all year — contemporary art, design, fashion, and technology.
There’s almost always something new and creative to see inside.
Tip: Check the current and upcoming exhibition schedule on the official DDP website (English version): ddp.or.kr

3. Shop at the DDP Night Market
From Thursday to Sunday evenings, the outdoor plaza fills with about 100 stalls.
You’ll find young Korean designers, handmade goods, and tasty street food. It’s a fun way to spend a Seoul evening.

4. Visit the Free History Museum
Underground is the Dongdaemun History & Culture Museum, with free entry.
It shows artifacts from the old Joseon-era fortress found during DDP’s construction. A nice mix of the old and the new in one place.
